Members Only Forum
It is with pleasure that the Manuscript Society provides a members only component to our website. These forums are designed to allow members to begin a discussion on topics germane to the world of manuscripts, collecting and preservation. It is also a place where members can share community events in their area. Enjoy.
One of the goals of the Society is to make available to members digital copies of past editions of both the journal, Manuscripts, and The Manuscript Society News. At this time our archive of news reaches back seven years. The archive of Manuscripts is not yet populated with digital copies. We are working on issues that will allow us to make them available digitally. Watch the website for updates on the addition of digital copies to our archives.
For the first time the society has made the Membership Directory available on line. You can sort by name, city, state/province and country. For a complete address listing for each member we have provided a pdf of complete addresses. As we go into the 2017 renewal year in October you will have the opportunity to update all information you would like to have included in the Directory. We plan on adding columns for the inclusion of email addresses and phone numbers if the member wishes.
While at the moment we are rolling out membership data to all members, please watch your email for an invitation to go on line and sign in to your account and create your own password. It is here that each member will be able to manage your membership. This is an easy way to renew your membership, set up an automatic renewal via Pay Pal, keep your mailing address and contact information current, make contributions to funds and register for all of our events. While this is a new program, we do not anticipate too many difficulties.
