The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association (ABA) and The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA) have joined forces to create The Transatlantic Book Fair. Opens at 2pm Mid-Atlantic Standard Time on July 22nd. Closes on July 27th at 8pm Mid-Atlantic Standard Time.

The Transatlantic Book Fair will bring together over 150 rare book dealers!  Browse, inquire and purchase directly through the site which uses a secure e-commerce platform. Hosted on a dedicated website, the online fair will allow visitors to browse, inquire and purchase directly through the site which uses a secure e-commerce platform.

While the fair website will operate in English, fair selections will be multilingual.  The event runs continuously over five days. Booksellers are from the Americas, Europe,  Asia and Australia,” says Brad Johnson, President of the ABAA.

Exhibitors from 15 countries present more than 5000 books, maps, manuscripts, photographs, and rare historical artifacts online during the online fair.

Specialists talk on topics as diverse as Ian Fleming’s James Bond and the history of fashion in print.  Virtual guided tours are also offered. The full schedule will be publicly available shortly on www.transatlanticbookfair.com
